Forest School is long term, regular sessions in the natural environment with the same children in the same area of woodland.
Forest School aims to promote the children’s holistic development with many benefits such as problem solving, working with others, communication but it can also build on a child’s self-esteem, resilience, confidence, risk awareness and emotional intelligence, all contributing attributes to school readiness.
We currently run 2 Forest School sessions, on a Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon.
The forest school sessions are only open for children aged 3 and 4 due to ratios and safety.
The session run from 12.45-14.45pm and cost £15 which will be invoiced termly. A child can attend 1 or 2 Forest School sessions depending on demand.
